The Island Water Park is conveniently located by Shaw and Highway 99 and offers some of the most extreme waterslides in the state. Wild Water Adventure Park is the largest water park in California and is located 15 minutes east of downtown Clovis. Families can enjoy the vast parks and abundant water activities throughout the whole season.

Go Jump in a Lake (Literally)

Lakes are in abundance in the greater Fresno area. Some popular lakes include Millerton Lake, Shaver Lake, Huntington Lake, Bass Lake, and more. Woodward Park is located in North Fresno and is a favorite park for many local residents. Woodward park encompasses an enormous 300 acres with large lakes, cool shaded areas, multiple grassy areas, a dog park, a BMX course, a disc golf course, a beautiful Japanese garden, and more. Fresno summers definitely attract visitors to the park as it’s a great place to enjoy a day with the family.
